About us

Pretty Little Punk, an alternative fashion brand based in Dundee, popped into this world in 2018. It is the creation of Cara Anderson, who is the mastermind behind all the designs and ideas that form the brand. P.L.P aims to brighten up both your wardrobe and life with its quirky designs.

"I would describe Pretty Little Punk's style as bold, fun, sometimes a bit silly, with a hint of punk edge but not enough to scare my Gran" - Cara creator of P.L.P

Another aim of the brand is something that Cara likes to call 'ninja conservation'. By this she does not mean literally conserving ninjas, those guys are bad ass and don't need our help, but that the brand also raises awareness of conservation issues - raising awareness in a new audience without them even looking for it. Sneaky like a ninja!

"Before P.L.P, I had always worked and studied in the world of zoology and conservation. They will always be my passion but why not combine it with my other passion, for handbags and clothes, and do something a bit different. I get to create awesome designs and at the same time raise money for awesome causes. If customer is shopping for a new top, bag or gift and inadvertently finds out about a charity they had never heard of and donate towards it, while still getting a funky new item, then my plan has worked!" - Cara Creator of PLP

The 'Reptile Collection' was the first of the P.L.P's collections to do this. Any time an item from this collection is purchased a percentage of this sale is donated to a reptile charity. Cara's best friend and Head of Customer Relations Department at PLP is Albert the tortoise who was himself a rescued reptile. As the brand develops we hope to continue to support a wide range of charities and causes.
